How would you describe a typical workday?
Fast paced! We are fortunate to be in the middle of many huge exciting projects, so the day just flies by!
What do you enjoy most about working at ZCom Solutions?
The variety of my day to day and the people. Everyday is a learning curve! No day is ever the same. We have incredible co-workers and really wonderful clients.
What is your proudest professional accomplishment?
In my previous company, they decided to outsource the P2P function. As an SME I got to play a big role in the project, teaching & training the partner. I spent 6 weeks in India training and supporting several different teams within P2P. I am extremely proud of the result, it was a challenge at times but one that I did really enjoy.
How do you like to relax after a hard day at work?
I am a big Soccer fan. I love watching my team Liverpool play and I play myself for my local team. Unfortunately, Covid has meant I can’t play at the moment. Currently, walks with my dog & Netflix is my relaxation routine.
What is the most courageous thing you have done in your life?
I moved to a different country at 20. Leaving my home and my mum took more courage from me then I think jumping out of plane would have.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead – who would it be and why?
I would choose Stevie Wonder. Music is a huge part of my life and I was raised listening to him. I watch him play the piano or harmonica and I just think WOW!
What is your favourite game or sport to watch / play?
Soccer
What is one thing you will never do again?
I will never take my mum’s cooking for granted ever again!
Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
Music! From the moment I wake up I have to listen to music. My family joke I never take my headphones off.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
I love bringing my dog to the beach. I do like to relax though, so after the housework is done I would probably be watching Soccer.
What’s the top destination on your must-visit list? (After Covid of course!)
Cape Town has always been my dream. I would love to cage dive with Great White Sharks.

If you could only eat one item for every meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My mum’s homemade Chips (Fries)
